A township of Michigan
Ellington Township is located in Tuscola County in what is known as the Thumb of Michigan. It sits on the northeastern outskirts of the city of Caro, Michigan, which is also the seat of Tuscola County. Ellington township is located between Caro and Cass City.
The township is 35.6 square miles of mostly residential, farmland, and state gaming area. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 1,325.
